But damn, I'm tired. My head feels heavy, and so do my eyes, and I don't particularly want to move. I have three outlines:
- My spaceship crew has to install a new AI, mandated by the Feds. Meanwhile, their new job is to transport a meerkat colony (illegally) to a new planet. Wacky fun.
- A combat vet with PTSD buys a house next to a cemetery with the premise that "at least the neighbors are quiet." Turns out, not so much. This might turn more toward horror.
- A reverse heist in which an intrepid crew has to leave a talking cat in a dragon cave.
Hubby thinks I should do the cemetery story, because he thinks it will be short. The problem with that is that it's the least detailed of the outlines and I'll have a lot of blank-filling and hair-tearing. I'd just as soon do a longer one that will get me to the end of the project, but looking at how much time is left, I may have to do two more anyway.
And that means I need to decide if I'm going to stop at the word count goal, or keep going to the end of the month. At this point, it's a tossup.
